Defining the Experience
xGoodFriday produces quality streetwear that embraces the good times and great people in Atlanta. I built the online store from the ground up, designed all the products, and developed a clean, minimal shopping experience that reflects xGoodFriday's bold identity.
Goals
1. Create a seamless online shopping experience that’s visually engaging and easy to navigate.
2. Build a brand identity that feels modern and minimal while celebrating Atlanta’s culture.
3. Optimize for mobile users, since most customers browse on their phones.
Defining the Experience
I started by researching e-commerce trends in streetwear and identifying what makes a strong online shopping experience. The goal was to keep the interface bold but simple-- letting the products and brand voice take center stage.
Designing the Storefront
The website follows a black-and-white color scheme with high-contrast typography and large product imagery. I designed a structured grid layout for easy browsing and a streamlined checkout flow to reduce friction.
Product & Brand Design
Every piece in the xGoodFriday collection was designed by me, featuring hand-drawn graphics and embroidered details. The apparel reflects a deep connection to Atlanta’s culture while maintaining a clean, street-ready aesthetic.
